叙事空间极其开阔 画框暗示人物前史——独居探长曾拥有美满家庭 酗酒神射仍怀念峥嵘岁月 阿兰德龙曾为美色所诱 而这（海报上的）三人现今都被声色犬马的社会所遗弃 此番归来目的很纯粹（保险箱完成了背信弃义的爱人与钱的置换）仅仅是为了重回舞台开展一番生死争斗以实现自我确证 这点在蒙当身上格外明显 他的动机始于对镜中落魄自己与墙上代表“超我”的枪（画中的枪对准德龙与蒙当的头也是对其命运的暗示）之强烈落差的意识 最终在抢劫戏对匙孔（被克服之物）的凝望中完成了这一自我确证 有趣的是镜子也在德龙的家中出现却并无照镜子的桥段 原因大概在于逃犯与德龙实则为同一人（！） 这一点可以在两人出场的转场镜头以及抢劫部分逃犯忍不住摸雕塑乳房（和德龙的画作相似）见出端倪 如此 结尾处二者在镜边的相互注视也便构成了这个角色的自我确证
