彩虹岛是由Taito公司于1987年发行于街机平台的跳跃类游戏，后来被移植于其他游戏机平台。FC版的游戏共有十个游戏关卡世界，每个世界都有不同的主题，并且越往后关卡的难度越大。玩家的武器就是游戏人物发出的彩虹，使用彩虹来打倒敌人或者是起到梯子的作用。玩家通过不断的攀升来进入后面的关卡。其中有三个秘密关卡必须要集齐七颗钻石之后才能出现。
