Fresh is the sixth album by American funk/soul/rock band Sly and the Family Stone, released by Epic/CBS Records on June 30, 1973 (see 1973 in music). Written and produced by Sly Stone, Fresh is more upbeat than its predecessor, the landmark There's a Riot Goin' On, but still retains much of Riot's dark, funky feel.

On the fourth album from their reunited lineup, the alt-rock lifers choose to embrace the slowing of their step.

On-U Sound legend Adrian Sherwood gives Spoon’s latest album a surprisingly sprightly and occasionally awkward dub reconstruction.

Neil Young with Crazy Horse will release World Record on November 18, 2022. It's their second album of new studio recordings within the past 12 months. World Record is produced by Rick Rubin and Neil Young, and Neil is accompanied by his longtime band, Crazy Horse (Billy Talbot, Ralph Molina, Nils Lofgren). The album features 10 new Neil Young compositions (plus a short reprise of one song) and was mixed to analog tape at Rubin’s Shangri-la studios using a selection of vintage instruments and equipment. To optimize the audio quality, the vinyl format will be released as a 3-sided double album with an etching on side 4. There will also be a limited-edition version of the album pressed on clear vinyl available at indie retailers. 'World Record' will also be released on CD (2 CDs mirroring the track sequence of the double LP) and cassette. World Record contains ten songs, nine written during the last year about the events and condition of our world.

The Boss shines a light on the greats of the past and leans into his full vocal prowess with this beautiful celebration of soul music

The Stooges, originally billed as the Psychedelic Stooges, also known as Iggy and the Stooges, were an American rock band formed in Ann Arbor, Michigan in 1967 by singer Iggy Pop, guitarist Ron Asheton, drummer Scott Asheton, and bassist Dave Alexander.

Long before the raw power of punk icon Iggy Pop became legend, his first incarnation as Iggy Stooge of proto-punk trailblazers The Stooges roared into being. The essence of punk years before the genre existed, The Stooges' furious music was a howling, visceral, fuzztone-drenched, and unprecedented vortex of sound, as evidenced on their revolutionary self-titled, John Cale-produced 1969 debut album. Their bracing follow-up, Fun House portrayed their evolution into a fiercer, stronger band with Iggy's primal vocals and mad brilliance more potent than ever. Each immortal album is now remastered and twice as amazing with a second disc of rarities and previously unreleased tracks.
