主人公A，热爱音乐从工厂辞职，学习创作，他目前已有一百多首原创歌曲，他曾在北京地道卖唱，后因食不裹腹回到家乡徐州，靠路边演出谋生。

在一个狂风暴雨的不祥之夜，身为瑜伽教练的单身妈妈辛海伦（袁咏仪 饰）带着女儿思思（张籽沐 饰）行驶在回家的路上，突然她们被一辆黑色汽车迫停。当母女俩恢复意识后，发现不知被谁换上了红色衣服，而且身处一个阴冷的溶洞中。之后海伦见到另外七名从未谋面的男女，这些人有着不同的职业，彼此似乎并不相识。随即一个神秘的声音传来，宣布接下来他们将进行一场死亡派对，九个人中间有一个杀手，杀手会在每次催眠气体袭来时杀死这些人。他们必须想方设法找出真正的凶手，活着走出死亡溶洞。经过一连串的猜忌指责，他们相互残杀，血光四溅。

Wang Shuangli is Deputy Director of the local Cultural Centre, and hopes to be appointed Director. However Old Ma is brought in from the country and installed as Director. This starts a long train of events with Wang's cronies using the bureaucracy to try to oust the new director.

Yu Xiaoqin steals money from her father and blames on her sister Tao Lan, who accidentally kills her sister while attempting to prove her innocence. After 17 years in jail, Tao Lan is escorted by a guard only to find her home long demolished. The two go to the new address of her ageing parents, and the guard becomes witness to the family's difficult reunion.

A story centered around a divorced couple living in a southern Chinese city Shenzhen and dealing with the disappearance of their missing son.

In this tense thriller, Ma Shan (Wen Jiang) is a Chinese police detective who awakes one morning after a night of heavy drinking at his sister's wedding reception to discover that his gun has been stolen. Since only police officers are allowed to carry firearms, Ma Shan is alarmed about the deadly possibilities of the theft, and he sets out to find his weapon; however, the memories of Ma Shan's friends are as hazy as his own regarding the wedding, and no one can tell who drove him home. The situation comes to a head when Ma Shan's former girlfriend arrives in town for a visit and is soon found shot dead with the bullets matching those used in his gun.
