Dylan Moran stand-up comedy, live.

Dylan Moran live at Sydney's State Theatre 15th May 2009

Dylan Moran, star of Black Books, Shaun of the Dead and Run Fat Boy Run is about to spread a little happiness with a brand new live DVD for 2011. Ageing, religion, kids and relationships intertwine with the general absurdities of life. Searing observations and sumptuous imagery, painted across a large fraying canvas with cruel, curmudgeonly 'Moranesque' brush strokes are all delivered with Dylan's renowned, shambolic charm… Simply unmissable. "It didn’t falter for a moment. This is stand-up comedy of the first order... scarcely a word wasted... seriously good fun" The Times

Chris Rock brings his critically acclaimed brand of social commentary-themed humor to this 1999 standup comedy presentation from HBO. Also released as an album, Chris Rock: Bigger & Blacker features Rock on-stage extolling his razor-sharp wit and wisdom on such topics as gun control, President Clinton, homophobia, racism, black leaders, and relationships.

2013 film by Louis C.K.

Comedy and television star Louis C.K. returns to HBO for an hour of no-holds-barred, adults-only stand-up comedy...

Comedian Louis C.K. gleefully transcends the boundaries of good taste in a stand-up comedy special in which no topic is sacred – including his own children. Whether ranting about impatience in contemporary society, his ballooning physique, or the trials of fatherhood, C.K. has a curious talent for keeping an audience in stitches even – or especially – as they’re recoiling in abject horror. He may be twisted, but there’s truly no denying he’s one of the most transgressive, talented comics to come down the pike since the glory days of Bill Hicks, Eddie Murphy, and Richard Pryor.
