由2001年7月起，Milk志一直代表潮流指标。
《milk》的主创人员都是香港时尚杂志界很前辈的人物，然而可贵在多年不变的潮流之心和童真幻想。这样一本自然、充满型格的十分有style的杂志，令人无限向往啊。
《Milk》是一本香港杂志，每周四出版，12港币，两册，400页左右，很厚。去年也推出了大陆刊。
但《Milk》其实又是一本很简单的杂志，只讲香港青少年的吃穿玩乐，因此里面的内容花花绿绿。花花绿绿并非空洞无物，《Milk》很好看，拿起来放不下，看过就会成为它的忠诚读者。
700万香港人，青少年杂志就有几十种，还都是周刊。《Milk》是其中的佼佼者。
因为专注，所以领先。《Milk》的专注体现在对本地青少年流行文化的掌握和推动。
第一个优点是全。各种新店和打折信息都很全。每期《Milk》都能看很久。看过很久，如果有空翻翻，还能发现新东西。这次从泰国回来，偶然看到一篇黄伟文的专栏文章，说我去过的一个酒店的服务生制服的设计者是大名鼎鼎的山本耀司。追忆一下还是很有趣的。
第二个优点是透。《Milk》里有大大小小不同的专题。流行时尚类杂志的专题最不好做，而《Milk》每个专题观点都很深入，资料的搜集很见功夫。
第三个优点是出位。连广告都在恶搞，你却不会烦。比如TOUCH的广告是一组“有罪”者。罪名分别是：他胆敢不和一个得爱滋病的朋友绝交；她胆敢告诉五十三个人金钱不是万能的；五年来他们竟然只和对方一个人做过爱……《Milk》不八卦，不狗仔，聚精会神谈流行，一心一意说玩乐。这在香港也算一种出位吧。
《Milk》的本土化体现在大力扶植本土品牌上。像izzue，几乎与《Milk》一同成长。他们之间的关系并非广告客户和媒体那么简单，媒体已经成为产品文化延伸的平台，而产品又成为媒体寻找话题的源泉。
《Milk》的栏目设置也符合青少年的需求：比如，mobile foto，就是专供读者展示自己的“手机摄影作品”。
不要以为《Milk》只是本产品分类广告——做成那样也没什么不好，而且做好也并不容易——它的文字相当讲究。有篇纪念黄的文字，是我看到同类文字中最好的。每期最后的招牌黄伟文就更不用说了。
