The first series (in June 05) won a Press Guild award. - The series was Ross's own idea, he was inspired a few years ago when he was filming a documentary in L.A. on America's love affair with guns. Here he met a man who had been shot and was left with six, nine millimetre holes in his chest. It was after this eye opening experience, that Ross felt more people needed to be made aware of the brutal reality gang crime.
