4ÆM is a song Grimes teased on June 5, 2018 on Grimes her Twitter account. She described the song as her ethereal chav jam which is a cyberpunk interpretation of the Bollywood film Bajirao Mastani. The song is from the film’s main character, Mastani, her perspective.
