At the origin of the song, there’s a conversation between Nicolas (the man behind the band) and one of his best friend : « We were talking about his father retirement party, says Nicolas, and he described me precisely how his father felt after everyone went home... worn out, drained, and deeply sad. As if a part of him had just gone ». Your bravest fight was written and composed the day after that conversation. « That story inspired me so much, I’ve always been fascinated about the role of work in everyone’s life… ». The B-side Home is probably the boldest song the band has ever written. « This isn’t representative of the musical direction we’ve chosen for the album, but this is a very precious song to me. A song about someone whith whom I was realy close. I can’t say more, because it would be too personal, but after Hushing, this is my second song about illness ».
