Together, they sail across the open ocean on an action-packed voyage, encountering enormous monsters and impossible odds, and along the way, Moana fulfills the ancient quest of her ancestors and discovers the one thing she's always sought: her own identity. Directed by the renowned filmmaking team of Ron Clements and John Musker (The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, The Princess & the Frog) and produced by Osnat Shurer (Lifted, One Man Band), Moana sails into U.S. theaters on Nov. 23, 2016.

The album features one track from the show’s original score composed by Barrington Pheloung (Hilary and Jackie, Shopgirl), as well as numerous classical pieces used in the series. The soundtrack will be released in the UK on May 6, 2013. No word yet on a domestic release date. Endeavour created by Russell Lewis based on characters created by Colin Dexter and stars Shaun Evans, Roger Allam and Patrick Malahide. The series is set as a prequel to Inspector Morse and follows the young detective Endeavour Morse and his partner Detective Inspector Fred Thursday.

Director Fred Cavayé about his work with Klaus Badelt: “It is a fantastic opportunity to be able to work with such a big name for the first time. Klaus is a man who has worked with Terrence Malick and Michael Mann, and this is the first time that he has composed music for a French film. He liked the screenplay as soon as he read it and he accepted task of composing the soundtrack. On a personal level, it is a joy to work with him. His music is part of the intensity and the emotion of the action and takes it to a higher level. His music embodies and conveys all the implicit details which were at the fringes of the action. Suddenly, it was as if the stage directions were recreated on screen. The fact that we had so little time made us look at the heart of the matter. Klaus is a person who works without involving his ego, he dedicates himself to the film and gives everything to benefit the story. We made the recording at Abbey Road with key musicians and I confess that I felt a shiver go down my spine when I found myself confronted by forty violins playing the theme tune, there, right in front of me.”

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is the soundtrack to the 2009 film of the same name, written and composed by Nicholas Hooper. The score was conducted by Hooper alongside Alastair King. It is the second Harry Potter film to be scored by Hooper, who also composed the score for the previous film in the series, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. The soundtrack was released on 14 July 2009, a day before the film's release, and was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Score Soundtrack Album for a Motion Picture. The soundtrack is critically acclaimed and the most successful album of the series.

The theme, a melodic mischievous close cousin of the "Hedwig's Theme" composed around text from Shakespeare's "Macbeth", became the foundation stone for the rest of the film score. Its medieval color became the musical identity of the wizarding world in this third installment of Harry Potter. John juggled these medieval motifs with a late 19th century rossini-esque narrative, a delirious big band Jazz number, and 20th century music (which we both share a love for). How he managed to create a unity out of it all, beats me! It was a great privilege to witness, as the scoring sessions unfolded, music breathing life into what has become a much better film. When I began the process of turning "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" into a film, my one goal was to remain true and faithful to the spirit of the book. The meant shooting the entire picture in England, casting all British actors and not straying far from the original text of the novel. It also meant choosing a composer whose music could capture the richness and texture of this complex, imaginative story. I felt there was only one man who could accomplish this. John Williams. John's music for "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" is a towering achievement. It works on several levels. It's a brilliantly constructed companion piece to the film, integrating seamlessly with every image and emotion. It's also a fantastic record, a classical concept album, telling the story of Harry Potter with music. But most importantly, it captures the soul of the Harry Potter world. There is a moment in the book and the film when Harry opens his letter from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and realizes that he is, in fact, a wizard. At that moment, Harry becomes free to dream. John's music creates the same response in the heart of each listener. It liberates your imagination and gives you the freedom to dream. 一個動盪年代裡亂世兒女的情愛故事／孤戀花 資深音樂人陳小霞／首度領軍音樂原聲帶製作與演唱 李心潔、蕭淑慎／上海和平飯店老年爵士樂隊聯手演出 融合上海時代曲、台灣那卡西、日本歌謠 精彩絕倫 不管是上海老歌還是台灣老歌，都代表了一個時代。音樂常常是附著在生活當中的，我們很容易因為老歌而讓你整個思緒回到那個時代裡去。 孤戀花的主角之一是一個音樂家，故事的背景是在那個年代，場景又是在舞場、酒家，所以這些老歌是很重要的。這些老歌非常獨特，那是歲月時代留下來非常美麗的記憶。 對在音樂的製作上，我們透過這些老歌來重塑那個年代，那是一種聲音表情，當聲音表情很豐富而且很寫實的時候，那個時代的感覺就回來了。因此我們在音樂的製作上花了很大的力氣，無論是在上海的樂團的尋找，或是台灣歌謠曲目的選擇，都費了一番心力去安排。 孤戀花配樂 陳小霞：這部戲有一個很重要的地方是，想辦法去保存、記錄、重建一些音樂場景。在看這部戲的時候，某些鏡頭可能會讓你有似曾相識的感覺，那是因為那些曾經在你的生命裡出現過的音樂。 上海的部份，畫面上很美，而台灣的部份，戲劇的張力很強，所以在音樂上也是這樣處理；上海我給他的是一個比較優雅、美感度比較迷人的音樂，在台灣可能就是比較衝突性的，像嗩吶。而怎麼讓這些完全不同的東西有一個統一的調性，是最具挑戰的地方。 在片尾曲部分，那個曲子是非常女性的，詞意上表現出強烈的無力感，但又有一種生命力。我非常心?雲芳那個角色，戲裡面每個角色都可以很大聲的說出他的愛，他的痛，他的不滿，他可以哭，可是我覺得雲芳，從頭到尾有一個部份是她從沒有爆發出來的，而歌詞就是針對這個情緒來寫，那個無奈是大時代給她的，也是被時代犧牲的。

Quartet Records, in collaboration with Idol, Why Not Productions, Wild Bunch and Studio Ghibli, is proud to present the tender, surprising score composed by Laurent Perez Del Mar (Evolution Man, Antigang, Zarafa) for an impressive 2016 French-Japanese animated film directed by Michael Dudok De Wit in his feature film debut. The Red Turtle (La tortue rouge) tells the story of a man who tries to escape from a deserted island and battles a giant turtle. The film, which has no dialogue, follows the major life stages of a castaway on a deserted tropical island populated by turtles, crabs and birds. In the absence of dialogue, Perez Del Mar’s music is naturally the most important “voice” in the film. It is performed by the Macedonian Radio Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Oleg Kondratenko. The film has been awarded the Special Jury Prize in the Cannes Film Festival of 2016.
