必须忍耐许多拉里拉杂的琐碎细节，然后从中看到一些闪光点。当然可以说这很日常很真实，生活就是这样，但是我对侯导拍的生活细节多数无感，不会“恋恋”。想来我和这几个导演编剧的个性不同，活法不同，所以我们的眼睛看到的生活，留意的细节也不同。我觉得本片最大的闪光点是阿公（童年往事则是祖母），让我最有感触的一幕是大陆渔船到金门，军士们当成过节一样送他们好多东西；还有小两口通信事无巨细诉说各种；父亲分期付款给儿子买表，入伍前送他打火机，他又送给大陆渔民。可以理解但无法原谅阿云！问题不是另嫁他人，是应该给个交代，没有交代的分手在心理上的伤害更大好几倍。说邮差在信件上做手脚，但离阿远退伍也就一年了，比起一起长大的十八年算什么？换我无论如何会给个交代以后再嫁。真是水性杨花的典范。后来知道这是吴念真亲身经历，他说幸好没娶那女孩。
