The documentary is about the ceremony dedicated by American people to John Lennon after his murder. The 10 minutes of silence in New York's Central Park allows a deep observation of the particularly immobile people.

Un Chien Andalou is an European avant-garde surrealist film, a collaboration between director Luis Buñuel and Salvador Dali.

People of the Jasak village, near mountain Fruška Gora (Yugoslavia/Serbia), show how they undertook operations against the Axis forces during WWII. They tell about the dramatic events, how they helped hide partizan troops and how younger villagers joined partizan troops in Bosnia. We listen to recolections of the Nazi imprisonments, persecutions and torture. In the last quarter of the movie people talk of the events from 1944. when the village was freed and the Russians went through their village. They remember the joy and great hope for the arrival of freedom and socialism.

Žilnik takes his camera to Šabac Fair, one of the largest flea markets and festivals in the Balkans, to meet with the people who run it. Cutting between tradespeople, performers, musicians, and fair employees, Žilnik highlights its chaotic and cooperative community.

Žilnik invites six homeless men to his flat for a few days (surprising his wife). He asks officials and people on the street if someone can help them, this being SFRJ, a state officially without those left on their own. At the end, the six men come to the conclusion that no one can help them.

SFRJ (Socialist Federative Republic of Yugoslavia) was officially a place where everyone has a job and a house. The story follows hard labored workers who can't find a job, who bathe in public bathrooms and sleep in homeless centers.

Tenants of one old building in the centre of Münich are featured in this film: most of them are foreigners who work in Germany as "guest workers" (Yugoslavs, Italians, Turks, Greeks etc.). In their mother tongue, each of them tells who he or she is, and briefly talks about their major worries, new hopes and plans for the future.

"De Natura" is an improvised poem, a peaceful and cheerful walk taken by two little girls in the middle of the nature, away from the eyes of grown-ups. But the joy gradually starts disappearing and the reverie becomes nostalgia, while at the edge of the road, among the rotting summer fruit, faint faces appear. The cycle of life does not diminish the magic of the world, no matter whether it is lit by the moon or by the sun.

After 25 years, an ex hired gun visits his old colleague, who is now a small town sheriff. Their past relationship is explored, as is how they reflect on it in the present.

Being John Smith is a deceptively wry and deeply felt work by the English avant-garde legend, in which Smith reflects on his life and career by way of his generic name, grappling with his own mortality and legacy, through a minimal, unassuming deployment of text, image, and voice.
