Björk释出新专辑《utopia》第二首新曲

Björk has released her new album Vulnicura almost two months ahead of schedule a fter it was leaked online. Tracks from the album were posted online just days after the Icelandic singer announced the title and tracklist. It is being rolled out on iTunes around the world over the next 24 hours, though the vinyl and CD are being kept back for the original March release date. Serving as the follow-up to 2011’s multimedia project Biophilia, the nine-track effort features production from Arca and The Haxan Cloak. Additionally, Antony Hegarty of Antony and the Johnsons sings on the track called “Atom Dance”. Meanwhile, Bjork has written an open letter about the album and its creation, and you can read it below. "dear websitefolks , fans , tweeters and my music supporters on all the sorts of www : vulnicura will be rolling out worldwide over the next 24 hours !! i am so grateful you are still interested in my work !! i appreciate every little bit !!! i wanted to tell you the tale of making of this album i guess i found in my lap one year into writing it a complete heartbreak album . kinda surprised how thoroughly i had documented this in pretty much accurate emotional chronology …. like 3 songs before a break up and three after . so the anthropologist in me sneaked in and i decided to share them as such . first i was worried it would be too self indulgent but then i felt it might make it even more universal . and hopefully the songs could be a help , a crutch to others and prove how biological this process is : the wound and the healing of the wound . psychologically and physically . it has a stubborn clock attached to it . there is a way out and then a magic thing happened to me : as i lost one thing something else entered . alejandro contacted me late summer 2013 and was interested in working with me . it was perfect timing . to make beats to the songs would have taken me 3 years ( like on vespertine ) but this enchanted arca would visit me repeatedly and only few months later we had a whole album !!! it is one of the most enjoyable collaboration i have had ! i then went ahead and wrote string and choir arrangements and recorded them in iceland towards the end of the album i started looking around for a mixing engineer and was introduced by a mutual friend of ours , robin carolan to the haxan cloak . he mixed the album and also made a beat for one half of “family” . together with chris elms the engineer we kinda formed a band during the mixing process and this is the album we made !!! i do hope you enjoy it i would like to thank this overqualified little team ( where roles often blurred ) . i also would like to thank robin , his generous approvals gave me more courage to complete this as is . and my group of songswapping / dj friends : the right tune can truly cure : ta for those sonic ointments but most of all i would like to thank my team : james merry , derek birkett and emma birkett . rosemary and elisa . this album could not have been done without you" (via Björk’s Facebook)

Japanese pressing of her debut album includes the UK bonus track, 'Play Dead' along with the Japanese only bonus track, 'Atlantic'. 13 tracks in all, including lyrics to all tracks . 1994 release.

Homogenic is the third studio album by Icelandic musician Björk, released in September 1997. Produced by Björk, Mark Bell, Guy Sigsworth, Howie B and Markus Dravs, it was released on One Little Indian Records. The music of Homogenic was a new style for Björk, focusing on similar sounding music combining electronic beats and string instruments with songs in tribute to her native country Iceland. Homogenic was originally to be produced in her home in London, United Kingdom, but was later recorded in Spain to avoid interruption from the press after the suicide of Björk's stalker Ricardo Lopez. Homogenic marked the first of several production collaborations between Mark Bell and Björk, who Björk would cite as a major influence on her musical career. The album peaked at number twenty-eight on the Billboard 200, and at number four on the UK Albums Chart. Five singles were released from Homogenic: "Jóga", "Bachelorette", "Hunter", "Alarm Call" and "All Is Full of Love". Homogenic was highly acclaimed on its initial release and continues to be praised by critics, with Sal Cinquemani of Slant Magazine stating that "if not the greatest electronic album of all time, it's certainly the greatest of its decade".

Unlike her soundtrack for Lars von Trier’s film Dancer in the Dark which drew on the tradition of theatrical and cinema musicals (and won her Best Actress at Cannes), this is a collection of delicate single instrument studies for harp, harpsichord and celeste; large orchestral masses scored for trumpet, trombone and oboe, electronic basslines, children’s choir and, in a manner recalling the all-vocal Medulla album, Björk’s singular voice, treated as an instrument of astonishingly flexible texture. One Little Indian. 2005. Honestly, fans of Bjork who are hoping for a massive return to the styles of pre-Medulla will probably be disappointed by this latest project. But judged on its own merits Drawing Restraint 9 remains an intriguing, but still somewhat forgettable experience. Bjork's trademark icy vocals take a backseat to Eastern influenced instrumentation. Aside from three tracks, the singing is performed by guest artists. "Pearl" sounds like an extension of "Ancestors" with its forceful, grating throat singing. Others simply come off as a bit dull and spiritless. They don't seem to have much blood in them. However, "Storm" is one recognizable highlight that evokes the chaotic rumbles of Homogenic. It's a fantastic version of a song that Bjork has only performed live up until now. I can't say this is a soundtrack that I will hold on to for a while, but it's something that's certainly worth a listen.

Vespertine, released in August 2001, is an album by the Icelandic singer/songwriter/musician Björk. It sees Björk creating an introverted, quiet world of swirling microbeats and personal lyrics. On the cover she can be seen wearing the swan dress (designed by Marjan Pejoski) that caused a stir at the 2001 Academy Awards. The album was originally released both on CD and on DVD-Audio in 2-channel (48khz/24bit) and 5.1-channel (96khz/24bit) advanced resolution. It peaked at number eight in the UK Albums Chart and at number 19 in the U.S. Billboard 200. It was also nominated for Best Alternative Album at the 2002 Grammy Awards. Recently music webzine Drowned In Sound named Vespertine the number-one album of the last six years not to garner press attention.[1] Stylus Magazine placed it 36th on their 'Top 50 Albums: 2000-2005 Vespertine was also selected as one of the 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die. The album was re-released in 2006 as a DualDisc including a lower-quality DTS 96/24 version of the original advanced resolution 5.1 mix. The DualDisc also formed part of the box set. On August 22, 2008 Björk wrote an open letter on her official website expressing her anger at the fact that Valgeir Sigurðsson has over the years been credited with writing the instrumentals for the album. She explained that he had been only an engineer and programmer (and that she herself had produced every track on the album), and argued that part of the reason was to do with sexism in the music industry.
