Suzanne Vega celebrated the 25th anniversary of her album Solitude Standing with a live concert at London's Barbican on October 16, 2012. The live recording was originally available through the Concerts Live site, but will now be given a general release in Europe on February 18. The concert is broken into two halves. The first is the anniversary performance of Solitude Standing in its entirety. The second half was performances of some of Vega's best known music from the other albums released throughout her career. At this time, there are no announcements of a U.S. release; however, the album should be available through Amazon as an import.

Released in February 2014, it was Vega's first album of new material in seven years. The album features contributions from Larry Campbell and Tony Levin (bassist from King Crimson and for Peter Gabriel). Although Vega's music had been sampled by various artists in the past, the album contains Vega's first own attempt at sampling with the track "Don't Uncork What You Can't Contain" including interpolations from 50 Cent's 2005 song "Candy Shop".

Nine Objects of Desire is Suzanne Vega's fifth studio album, released on September 10, 1996. It peaked at number 92 on the Billboard 200.

Import pressing of her 1992 album that is out-of-print domestically. Suzanne Vega makes it clear from the cover inwards that she's up to something different on 99.9 F. Her fiery red and yellow photo-manipulated hair and bandaged finger stand in stark contrast to the orderly mysticism conveyed on the front of her previous release, DAYS OF OPEN HAND. Producer MitchellFroom surrounds her strong songs with surprises in instrumentation, arrangement, and mix. The set opens smartly with a couple of selections that stand in stark contrast to the more traditional folk bearing of her previous output. By the third song, "In Liverpool", things break open to reveal a lushand popish heart. The title song is a dazzling groove of fuzzy and staccato guitar chords cast over layered percussion and her lilting vocal. An array of superb players, includingdrummer Jerry Marotta, guitarists David Hidalgo and RichardThompson, and bass player Bruce Thomas accompany her. While it represented a bit of an unexpected turn at the time of its release in 1992, 99.9 F is one of Vega's finest albums. Universal.

In 2010, Suzanne Vega began a four-disc project to re-imagine her own songbook in stripped down, unadorned arrangements that highlight the lyrics and melodies with Close Up, Vol. 1: Love Songs and Close Up, Vol. 2: People & Places, following it in 2011 with Close Up, Vol. 3: States of Being. Close-Up, Vol. 4: Songs of Family, brings this series of intimate re-recorded versions of her catalog to a close.
