THE ELEVATOR PITCH: Witch Creek Road follows a group of high school seniors who, after taking a wrong turn, find themselves in the midst of a summoning-gone-wrong. At its core, it's survival horror, but it's also a story about love, acceptance, death and revenge. And sexy, flesh-eating demons. Because every story needs sexy, flesh-eating demons. Still not sold? You can actually read the entire story for free over on Webtoons. So don't be shy: head on over there and read away. If it turns out this story isn't for you, that's cool. Thanks for checking us out. But if you enjoyed it, here's your chance to own a physical version of the first story-arc! WITCH CREEK ROAD the yearbook edition Ever since Kenan and I started Witch Creek Road, the end goal has been to print physical copies. As such, everything was produced as traditional sequential art, which was then converted into the vertical scroll of the Webtoons format. In other words, there's no messy "format conversions" required.

"It has the thoroughness of a history book yet reads with the personalized vision of a novel." -"Time""" Chester Brown reinvents the comic-book medium to create the critically acclaimed historical biography "Louis Riel," winning the Harvey Awards for best writing and best graphic novel for his compelling, meticulous, and dispassionate retelling of the charismatic, and perhaps insane, nineteenth-century Metis leader. Brown coolly documents with dramatic subtlety the violent rebellion on the Canadian prairie led by Riel, who some regard a martyr who died in the name of freedom, while others consider him a treacherous murderer.

In one of the best graphic novels published in recent years, Chester Brown tells the story of his alienated youth in an almost detached, understated manner, giving the book an eerie, dream-like quality. For the new 2002 definitive softcover edition Brown has designed new layouts for the entire book, using "white" panel backgrounds instead of the black pages of the first edition.

Paying for It is a natural progression for Brown as it combines the personal and sexual aspects of his autobiographical work with the polemical drive of Louis Riel. Brown calmly lays out the facts of how he became not only a willing participant in but a vocal proponent of one of the world’s most hot-button topics—prostitution. While this may appear overly sensational and just plain implausible to some, Brown’s story stands for itself. Paying for It offers an entirely contemporary exploration of sex work—from the timid john who rides his bike to his escorts, wonders how to tip so as not to offend, and reads Dan Savage for advice, to the modern-day transactions complete with online reviews, seemingly willing participants, and clean apartments devoid of clichéd street corners, drugs, or pimps.

Arkelope is an animated short that takes a pointed look at endangered species and human indifference. When a middle-aged couple come across a nature documentary on the decline of the arkelope while channel-surfing, they learn that although the species has managed to survive a variety of natural disasters, it is now in imminent danger of extinction due to man's short-sightedness. With a serious yet funny approach, this little film illustrates human passivity in the face of the ubiquitous TV set.

A wildly surrealistic computer-generated animation in which a young man is psychologically brutalized by circus characters into believing he is a clown.

1979 short film

A shy old man works up the gumption to meet a woman on whom he has a crush.

An animated adaptation of Franz Kafka’s acclaimed novella, “The Metamorphosis,” made from carving images into sand with glass.

A couple has a fight over a game of Scrabble unaware that a full-scale nuclear war has started.

This film is a must-see film for parents of young children and a cautionary tale for those planning a family. Roger and Doris are a married couple. They are childless and they wish for a baby. One night they wish on a shooting star—and that shooting star turns out to be a toddler, a human-seeming toddler who flies through the depths of space and right into their living room.
