自赏梦幻.电气童话 Childs《Yui》 Childs - Yui电气.童话.摇篮曲. 飘然的音符催眠了每一处躁动的神经. ... childs 是处女专辑《yui》听起来颇有ambient 的韵味，其中虽有着冰岛苍凉广阔的影子 ... Genre: Electronica / Indie Childs是来自墨西哥的音乐家Paúl Marrón， Guillermo Bátiz在01年成立的乐队 50％的独立小电子 + 30％的自赏梦幻流行 + 80％的后摇，这样的一个小杂烩风格被他们自己定义成了electronic lullabies，电子童谣。有人说yui中有不少《新世纪福音战士》的声音片断，我不大清楚，不过childs成员对动漫的热爱充满在整张LP中，从封面到编曲都能感觉到。 安静、祥和、一如摇篮曲般让人放松，一头扎入美妙的旋律中，头发随着音符扩散开 睁着眼睛，看在水底发呆的海龟。 海面上，已经下雨了 闻到了么 这么轻的声音，想起了cafe del mar，那股来自西班牙沙滩上的Lounge风潮 由 Paul Marron 和 Guillermo Batiz 組成的墨西哥電音組合。Yui 內除了 electronica外，作品中還包括 dream pop，post rock，ambient 等其他原素。Yui可以說是一張非常有趣的作品，一方面有一些輕鬆的 electro-pop 作品好像 S.A.D 和 Reki ，另外亦有 epic 式作品 lan P。時而有典型 laptop artist 式簡單編排；又有長篇大論 post rock 式電音，變奏高潮起伏。曲目時有 Sigur Ros 式天籟之音；有時又滲出 Mum式的原始 analog 音效 。音樂上，除了一般的鍵琴編排，Yui 內的弦樂編排也做得頗為出色。這張 CD 碟面上印有兩個小朋友的畫像，想也必是 Paul 和 Guillermo 對自身的投影吧。天真的氣氛中頗有一點娃娃看天下的味道。Childs 曾經用" electronic lullabies " 來形容他們自家的音樂，這也不失為一個貼切的形容。

2009年12月にリリースした「For Long Tomorrow」以来、2年半の時間を経てリリースされるtoeの音源は、さまざまな環境、状況下にある現在から更に一歩踏み出した、toeとして更に強くなった4曲を収録したEP。2011年3月に自身初のデジタルリリース楽曲「Ordinary Days」も今作に収録。更にゲストボーカルにACOを迎えた楽曲も収められ、toeが単なるインスト〜ポストロックバンドではないことを体感できる作品であると同時に、決して悲観的だけではない未来を感じられる作品に仕上がっている。

2016年1月初，差不多是一年中最冷的时候，惘闻在大连完成了乐队第九张唱片的录制，与以往不同，我们第一次找来了Wouter和Lode兄弟俩作为唱片的制作人。这张唱片总共收录了6首长曲和1首录自于废弃厂房中的人声作品，它们都是在过去的三年中创作的，最终的录音在原始创作的基础上改动了不少，乐队希望在一个作品中表述更多的内容和情绪，做更多的线索和矛盾冲突，而制作人则希望把一切脉络梳理的更清晰，双方的这种拉扯达到了最终的某种平衡结果。对惘闻而言，它是我们认知和探索自身和外在世界的又一次尝试。 过去的几年，感觉时间轴绷上了弹簧，加速度使人充满了莫名的兴奋和窒息感。才刚习惯的十年一代的讲法也已经过时，眼前的生活如速度失控的幻灯片般闪烁变幻。移动网络似乎把人与人拉得很近，其实是改变了我们的存在方式，让今天的“关系”成为一堆堆坚硬的数据模块, 不灭不净，无法交融，你甚至不能选择不参与其中，随之深深坠入时空堆积过载又不断撕裂的缝隙中。 越过岁月鸿沟就是Sweet Home, Go了？是的，不过是另一个岁月鸿沟，英语的。音乐总是或轻或重，但它从来不是精神糖果或者情绪解药，但我总是幻想着它那强大的气流能让时间暂停，把你我从冰冷的深渊喷到九霄云外，然后摔到粉身碎骨。 惘闻 2016年4月11日于大连

Opening October 15th nationwide, Friday Night Lights (a Universal picture starring Billy Bob Thornton and Tim McGraw, based on the best-selling book of the same name) features an original score by Temporary Residence top-seller Explosions In The Sky! The film chronicles the entire 1988 season of a high school football team from Odessa, TX (adjacent to Explosions In The Sky's hometown of Midland, TX). It focuses on the ongoing financial and emotional struggles of a small town that places all of its hopes on the team's chances at winning the state championship. The Universal soundtrack - scheduled for release October 5 - includes Explosions In The Sky's score, as well as a new Faith Hill/Tim McGraw duet and a new track by No Doubt's Gwen Stefani. Universal estimates the soundtrack will top one million copies sold by Christmas 2004. It is expected to debut in Billboard's Top 10. "Have You Passed Through This Night," from Those Who Tell the Truth Shall Die... is featured in the film's trailer, which began airing in theaters nationwide June 11. The trailer began airing on national television during the Olympic Games.

Throughout their six-year career, this Japanese quartet has ascended consistently in both popularity and critical acclaim.
