Recorded live at the Théâtre de Poissy, Salle Molière, 6/2003. ClassicsToday.com, 10/9; BBC Music Magazine 4 stars, Nick Morgan: "This must now be the best Rameau ‘starter’ disc".

Céline Frisch, the harpsichordist of Café Zimmermann, returns with a program entirely devoted to Jean-Philippe Rameau and recorded on a historic harpsichord built in 1750 by Hemsch. After the great success of her Goldberg Variations recording, and the release of music by d'Anglebert, the intelligence of touch and outstanding sound found here earn Frisch a deserved place in the Parnassus of Rameau's great interpreters.
