Each track tells its own tale in the overall storyline, inviting the listener into the role of narrator and interpretor of the instrumental introverted musical journey. The album further explores The Seven Mile Journey´s musical approaches and concepts deeper than ever before, along with combining these with new ones. Through this the band creates new layers in their music and is intensifying and broadening the overall dimensions and expression in the songs, in the sound of The Seven Mile Journey, and in the new album as a whole.

自赏梦幻.电气童话 Childs《Yui》 Childs - Yui电气.童话.摇篮曲. 飘然的音符催眠了每一处躁动的神经. ... childs 是处女专辑《yui》听起来颇有ambient 的韵味，其中虽有着冰岛苍凉广阔的影子 ... Genre: Electronica / Indie Childs是来自墨西哥的音乐家Paúl Marrón， Guillermo Bátiz在01年成立的乐队 50％的独立小电子 + 30％的自赏梦幻流行 + 80％的后摇，这样的一个小杂烩风格被他们自己定义成了electronic lullabies，电子童谣。有人说yui中有不少《新世纪福音战士》的声音片断，我不大清楚，不过childs成员对动漫的热爱充满在整张LP中，从封面到编曲都能感觉到。 安静、祥和、一如摇篮曲般让人放松，一头扎入美妙的旋律中，头发随着音符扩散开 睁着眼睛，看在水底发呆的海龟。 海面上，已经下雨了 闻到了么 这么轻的声音，想起了cafe del mar，那股来自西班牙沙滩上的Lounge风潮 由 Paul Marron 和 Guillermo Batiz 組成的墨西哥電音組合。Yui 內除了 electronica外，作品中還包括 dream pop，post rock，ambient 等其他原素。Yui可以說是一張非常有趣的作品，一方面有一些輕鬆的 electro-pop 作品好像 S.A.D 和 Reki ，另外亦有 epic 式作品 lan P。時而有典型 laptop artist 式簡單編排；又有長篇大論 post rock 式電音，變奏高潮起伏。曲目時有 Sigur Ros 式天籟之音；有時又滲出 Mum式的原始 analog 音效 。音樂上，除了一般的鍵琴編排，Yui 內的弦樂編排也做得頗為出色。這張 CD 碟面上印有兩個小朋友的畫像，想也必是 Paul 和 Guillermo 對自身的投影吧。天真的氣氛中頗有一點娃娃看天下的味道。Childs 曾經用" electronic lullabies " 來形容他們自家的音樂，這也不失為一個貼切的形容。

2009年12月にリリースした「For Long Tomorrow」以来、2年半の時間を経てリリースされるtoeの音源は、さまざまな環境、状況下にある現在から更に一歩踏み出した、toeとして更に強くなった4曲を収録したEP。2011年3月に自身初のデジタルリリース楽曲「Ordinary Days」も今作に収録。更にゲストボーカルにACOを迎えた楽曲も収められ、toeが単なるインスト〜ポストロックバンドではないことを体感できる作品であると同時に、決して悲観的だけではない未来を感じられる作品に仕上がっている。

It is finished! The new Our Last Hope Lost Hope album "Persist" has taken a few years to complete but it is now ready. It was recorded by eight musicians in various locations in Sweden and the U.S. between 2007 and 2010. The songs are available for streaming here and should be on Spotify and online music stores shortly. There are no current plans for a physical release, but we're open for suggestions if anyone would be interested. We really hope you'll enjoy the album!
