A charming thief and a band of unlikely adventurers undertake an epic heist to retrieve a lost relic, but things go dangerously awry when they run afoul of the wrong people.

Darkness returns to Hawkins just in time for spring break, igniting fresh terror, disturbing memories — and an ominous new threat. The story is picked up six months after the battle at the Starcourt Mall, which brought terror and destruction to Hawkins. Fighting the aftermath, our group of friends is separated for the first time and has to face the complexities of high school, which does not make things easy for them. Right now, the most vulnerable of all, a terrifying new supernatural threat emerges that represents a new and horrible mystery that, if they manage to solve, could end the horrors of the Upside Down.
