The Weeknd's 2016 album, Starboy, was the musical equivalent of a Hollywood blockbuster: action-packed, star-studded, with a little something for everyone. Here, he returns to his unfiltered, art-house roots with a release so intimate and tortured, you'll feel like a fly on his bedroom wall. Stuttering snares, gauzy production, and R-rated lyrics about sex and drugs ("I got two red pills to take the blues away," he coos through a vocoder on "Privilege") paint a vivid picture of a brooding Lothario—one that strongly resembles the dark artist we initially met on House of Balloons. This time around, he's tapped gothic electro king Gesaffelstein, who has also produced for Kanye West, to bring a sheen to the shadows with neon synths and fuzzy echoes that lift his signature anguish into new emotional heights.

The Weeknd release their fourth album album, 'After Hours.' The Weeknd is the alias of alternative Canadian R&B enigma-turned-pop star A bel Tesfaye, whose aching accounts of emotionally and physically toxic indulgences have translated into mass recognition. The singer and songwriter made his early-2010s breakthrough with morose ballads that seemed to have no designs on mainstream appeal. Within a few years, however, he was at the top of the charts and the rest is history. Fourteen tracks total, Including 'Heartless', 'Blinding Lights' and 'After Hours'.

"Young Dumb & Broke" is a song by American singer Khalid. It was released as a single on February 2, 2017, by Right Hand Music Group and RCA Records as the second single from his debut studio album American Teen. The song peaked at number one in the Philippines and New Zealand and it has reached the top ten in Australia, and Belgium (Flanders). As of October 2017, the single has been certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America. The Guardian's Graeme Virtue says that "More decrepit listeners might detect echoes of The Cure's 'Close to Me' amid 'Young Dumb & Broke''s palliative organ spiral, but that just adds to the bittersweet vibe of taken-for-granted golden years turning to ash."
