a review of 伪纪录片3D

Finally getting around to this one before my Shudder sub elapses. Not a bad riff on the FF genre, but perhaps a bit too subject to the limitations and pitfalls of the same. Nothing in the movie really justified the usage of the 3D gimmick either, which was a bit disappointing. Really weird cameo by film critic Scott Weinberg (credited as co-producer) as well. I guess this is a natural sort of thing for Shudder to have made as an in house production, but it doesn't quite work as either a spoof or a true example of the genre, so the value seems pretty marginal. I did get free 3D glasses as a promotional item, so that bumps it up an extra half star.
