Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (1966)

I think I might need to watch this one again when I'm in a better mood. I can appreciate the heightened nature of the dialogue and direction, but I felt like I was way ahead of where the movie expected me to be for the whole running time. Even though I'd sussed out basically all of the problems of George and Martha's marriage within the first half hour, Mike Nichols just dragged the whole thing out for another 100 minutes. I didn't hate it, but the melodramatic tone of the material and performances really grated on me after a while.
