整部电影就是一部影像诗，线头琐碎，没有连贯的故事和对话，但情感的脉络是清晰的。主线是大儿子的回忆、想象与记忆重组。不过那些各自低声倾诉的心语呢？也许属于一种旁白式的插入，也许是大儿子对他们的重新认识而想象出的。感觉看到了平行时空普通中年男人皮特是什么样，私心颁个皮特从影最佳演技。
