借着太空科幻的外衣，电影得以获得一个迫使人类困入自己内心世界的机会，在索拉里斯这片没有边界的大海上，过往的一切形而上学都被扭曲，唯一的最后海岛是那些不断逼近的终极问题：爱究竟是什么？理性究竟是什么？我们究竟是什么？太多的未知，科学也无法追问的大雾。
而对我来说电影最大的问题在于，所有概念与哲学的展开都极尽晦涩抽象之能事，以我浅薄的阅历，看不到清楚理解这部电影那一天到来的任何一点可能。
