生者与死者都有悲哀，凄恻极了。可以与「辉夜姬物语」对照着看，关于日本文化里对生死的态度，当然两者各有侧重。许多细节的表达非常有力。又，吉永小百合的演技太厉害了，看起来一点也不精致的那种精致。
