阿伦特的笔锋凌厉冷峻，在一边倒的对战犯的指责中毫不留情地指出 Jewish Council的行径相当于世做了共犯，平庸之恶这个概念现在看来已经非常普及，但在那时提出这个观点，加之她辛辣的讽刺和轻蔑的笔调，足以把她推到风口浪尖，艾希曼之所以作恶并非因为他思考过如何作恶，而恰恰是因为他没有，任何一颗放弃思考无条件服从命令的螺丝钉在他的位置上都可能犯下同样的罪，实话说在叙述方面确实有点枯燥，但不得不说是一流的思辨
