The supreme goal of humanity is not equality, but connection. 这本说的内容以女性为主，但不仅是说女性，而是涵盖了所有感受到或者曾经感受到自己是outsider的人，which is basically everyone。说真的这本书的格局真的很大了，因为写女权或者任何平权的书的作者，或多或少都somewhat privileged，有privilege并没有什么问题，毕竟完全没有privilege的阶层也不可能有渠道和方式向大众发声，但是同时会有一些局限性，说的问题大多数是中上层阶级会遇到的，但是Melinda因为基金会工作的缘故，真的走进极端贫困的人群当中，提到了一些在我们现有的环境中很难想象却真实存在的问题，非常值得读
