读过 Bury Your Gays 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌕
这本比较意外之喜，虽然一直不太敢看恐怖小说，而且这本还真挺恐怖的（瑟瑟发抖.jpg），但不得不承认每一个恐怖场景的气氛塑造都好优秀（哇这个Mrs Why是什么噩梦素材我谢谢你啊），节奏把控也非常出色，整体感觉紧凑又不会太赶，每个伏笔都得到完美回收，单作为恐怖小说来看也是很出彩
不过让我打满分的原因还是非常喜欢这本的queer representation，男主Misha（gay）和他的男朋友Ezekiel（bi，srds现实世界真的有人叫这个名字吗【。）、柏拉图好友Tara（aroace）之间的关系写得深得我心，首先完全没有把浪漫关系置于柏拉图关系之上的操作，其次男友和好友相处非常融洽毫无芥蒂，最后三个人之间形成的互相信任的团队关系真是恐怖小说里少有的正能量啊！要是所有恐怖小说里主角一说自己的遭遇，周围的亲朋好友就像他们这样全盘相信，那能少死多少人啊（bushi
这本最核心的冲突是制片公司要求男主违背自己的初衷，把他塑造的两个角色写成直人爱看的queer tragedy，男主拒绝后发现他自己塑造的恐怖片角色逐一出现在他的世界里，男主调查后发现幕后黑手是制片公司用于最大化利益的算法（这种具像化capitalism的做法够聪明啊）当男主经历奥斯卡之夜，几乎用一己之力对抗了直人对queer tragedy的迷恋之后，我就觉得事情没那么简单，当资本靠塑造并娱乐化刻板LGBT形象赚钱，结果并不优于推崇queer tragedy，而真正的diversity恰恰是很难受到这种利益至上的算法的青睐的……
如果仅仅写到这里结束，我会给这本书四星，每个speech和representation都很好，在叙述他青春期因为性向遭受的trauma和此后的内化恐同的同时，又给了他强有力的queer同伴的支撑，看似完满但又少了点真正触动我的东西……然而进展到结尾，我被征服了……Tara战胜算法的方式看起来过于轻而易举，但又多么合情合理！直人看不到的asexual才是真正拯救世界的英雄，甚至连模拟都模拟不出一个asexual的直人世界，灰飞烟灭也是应该的，所以asexual saves the day的故事就是最好的！
