Hotel Silent Hill

While a bit on the brief side, this collaborative concept album about a detective investigating a mysterious hotel is one of the most fascinating dark ambient albums I've ever heard. Full of evocative atmosphere, but the jazzy percussion gives it a bit more backbone and progression than most dark ambient. Perfect for a foggy night with a tumbler of bourbon.
