A letdown compared to the first two

While the individual segments were fairly original conceptually (evil magician, evil parallel universe, evil ritual in Tijuana) and I like seeing non-English horror given a prominent platform, the framing story is kinda dumb and the episodes overly long. It blatantly breaks the found footage conceit with visuals that are way too polished and impossible to have been filmed by the characters on-screen. The skateboard kids are also using GoPro cameras that film to digital memory cards, not videocassettes. If it doesn't involve VHS tapes, what are we even doing here?
