Had potential

Of the recent fantasy series (Willow, Rings of Power, The Witcher, House of the Dragon), The Wheel of Time was the one I found least interesting. It was handy in a pinch, not really something I waited for with any anticipation. I dropped season 3 two episodes in, after hearing it was cancelled, and hadn't planned on finishing it. But season 4 put me in the mood for fantasy TV, so I returned to WoT. While it ends suddenly, in an unsatisfying part in the story, I'm glad I finished out the season. Season 3 was the best of them, and it felt like the show had finally found its footing. Shame about the cancellation. Given the cost of the series I doubt any other streaming service will resume production on it.
