Not much more than a historical curiosity

A disfigured man seeks revenge on those he holds responsible for his unusual appearance. This movie is mostly interesting due to starring Rondo Hatton, who has an unusual appearance due to his real-life acromegaly. Portions are stylishly filmed, but the story is pretty thin. Hollywood's use of a human being with a disability as a sort of prop and symbol of ugliness is pretty distasteful by modern day standards, as well.
