Change of pace for Guy Ritchie

This movie about a US soldier and his local interpreter in Afghanistan was surprisingly good, less about war in general and more about honor and commitments. Dar Salim holds his own against the always fantastic Jake Gyllenhaal. As always, American military machinery is made to look "cool," but the failings of the US involvement in Afghanistan are also criticized.
