Tron: Ares - Review

The visuals were pretty and the plot serviceable, but this was neither a bad movie nor a masterpiece. Jared Leto's wooden acting is actually an asset in this role. Greta Lee is nice to look at, but she doesn't have much material to work with, she's mostly confused, fleeing, or both.

The Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross score is great (similar in quality to the Daft Punk score for Tron: Legacy), but also very obtrusive, with the music beating the viewer over the head pretty constantly throughout the film. Apparently it was deafening in the theater.
