Refreshing

I'm not as retrospectively negative about Game of Thrones as some, and despite a rocky start House of the Dragon has gotten quite good, but A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is a wonderful change of pace. The grimness of the Westeros setting is still very present, but Ser Dunk and Egg are two appealing characters that are fun to root for. It's also nice seeing more of the Smallfolk (peasantry) instead of just the powerful, and the show benefits greatly from a strong cast of colorful supporting characters. A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms has a nice mix of humor and drama, and a whole lot of heart. I look forward to the next season.
