A group of US Army Ranger cadets encounter a killer robot from outer space during a training exercise. Alan Ritchson (Reacher, etc.) is fun as always, and Stephan James has a strong supporting role. Like most movies of this type, there is a LOT of Michael Bay-style US military boosterism, but that's part of the deal if you want the government to provide all those helicopters on screen...
