a review of 雷·罗马诺：我在这里起步

I like the more laidback style Romano takes over other specials. He's not performing to some large venue, but rather two cozy comedy clubs where he got his start. It plays well off of his unflashy, homey nature. The jokes are funny, but probably won't ever leave you rolling. The best bits are centered around his family life. Other topics include getting older and sex. The latter of which is kind of uncomfortable, but that's probably just because it isn't the kind of material I have ever personally gotten behind in standup. I applaud the man even in that department though for not being gratuitously vulgar with that stuff like so many other comics are.
