Dracula, Prisoner of Frankenstein (1972)Where to start with this movie? Few lines of dialogue in it, and yet the ones that were seemed inadequate. The end was crawling with all sorts of monsters, and yet my feeling was not one of horror but of impatience. And what was the deal with all the zooming in and out as though that were the hallmark of a well shot film? Rubber bats are hard to sell to an audience and i do not believe they even tried. There is a Dracula, and a Doctor Frankenstein (with his most famous creation sort of appearing in a crate as if he were being beamed on board), but the word "Prisoner" really is a stretch in the title. I guess the location scout did a pretty good job, can't think of any other aspect that seemed to shriek high quality. I cannot really recommend this even for someone looking for a bad movie to mock.
