应该是我看过的最棒的漫改动画，在保持原作氛围基础上用精良的动画和音乐升华了，而剧情方面补充了一些小细节也加深了人物关系。我猜想作者可能是女性，因为这里的师徒情谊真是太好了，不论是芙莉莲和菲伦还是弗拉梅和芙莉莲，是很少见的女性角色互动类型，没有落入窠臼和刻板印象。寥寥数笔刻画的一些配角也让人印象深刻。另外我很喜欢这种后日谈，因为会很好奇大冒险故事的哪些“之后呢”的假设，长命精灵做主角而且从她的视角和反思出发也是很少见的。我还喜欢角色们没有特别高能量聒噪的，我喜欢这种冷淡风。
