第3部是最有史诗感的一作，在大时代的洪流中，神枪手也只不过是一粒尘埃。这部作品的出彩已经不用多说了，主题曲更是经典，不过个人觉得本片也有些小缺点，比如反派完全没有必要让克里夫来演，这只不过败坏了前作《黄昏双镖客》里他的角色留给人们的好印象，而且本片克里夫演的反派角色“天使之眼”不但戏份少、人物塑造也很单薄，完全不能和前两作个性鲜明的反派相比，真正被重点塑造的只有“小人（Ugly）”图科，包括克林特演的“好人”也塑造得不够深入、很需要依靠前两作来完善这个角色的形象。真正的三主角作品，其实是第二作《黄昏双镖客》，除了克林特演的无名镖客和克里夫演的莫蒂默，反派因迪奥也被用心刻画。
