Heartbreaking with slight moments of uplift and a glimmer of hope here and there.
But mostly heartbreaking.
Really quite clever and lovely how this was shot.
(I haven't seen many movies with Sandy Dennis, but between this and *That Cold Day in the Park*, I'm very much convinced that she is the cloth from which Julianne Moore was cut.)
