比起第一部来说更加抓人，关于宗教意义的讨论也相当深入，通过两个priest揭示了宗教的一体两面：让人盲信的权威，或者宽慰心灵的港湾。
从侦探片的角度也是合格的谜题：从众目睽睽下的不可能犯罪开始，再到一系列甚至是超自然力量的事件，最后归根结底还是人。答案甚至不算太复杂，但是谜题的讲述方式非常好。
从SNL认识的主演Josh，演得真好。
这部出现了两次韦伯我还在想怎么侦探品味降级了，一看演员表Glenn Close，难怪呢！
