Chet reunited with the Canadian Avant-Garde pianist for one recording in 1985 (they performed together briefly in 1955). Bley is surprisingly restrained in this setting, and absence of a rhythm section gives the album a warm, intimate feel. This is probably Chet Baker's prettiest recording. There is famous story regarding these two. Soon after recording this album, Baker and Bley performed together in Toronto.
