This is a superb slightly post bop piano trio jazz album from such a talented young piano and vibes player, Eddie Costa. Wendall Marshall on bass provides a steady beat and a sound harmonic structure whilst Paul Motion's drumming is the essence of discreteness. Only available these days I think from Japan, but well worthwhile seeking out. Eddie Costa died in a car accident in New York in 1962 a couple of weeks before his 32nd birthday. One can only wonder what he would have produced had he lived a full, normal life.
