a review of Apex

The movie strikes a great balance, making the sport accessible to newcomers while still offering plenty of thrilling moments for longtime fans. Its intention to spark fascination with the sport is clear, and it succeeds with never-seen-before camera angles and a sense of speed that truly comes alive on an IMAX screen. While the story itself is predictable, it doesn’t take away from the overall viewing experience, which remains engaging and visually thrilling throughout.
