Station Eleven (2021)

just like in real life, nobody wears masks during a deadly global pandemic, not even medical professionals, who are themselves helping to spread the disease. also just like in real life gen z are into weird shit like destroying the world just because they are bored and gullible and don't like the aesthetics & vibes. great score though. love the kid version of kirsten. a nine hour movie about a lady who writes a book and prints five copies and everyone thinks they have the only copy even though they know they don't. and then the book somehow takes on a life of its own and develops a cult following that has a major impact on the post pandemic world? plot is basically driven entirely by coincidence. nobody should care about shakespeare even close to this much. it gets better as it goes, but it's honestly so strange this is rated so highly.
