a review of 守望者

I'll be the first to say that I'm a fan of representation and diversity in media. However, if you're going to push representation and diversity, do it in an artistic way. The show has terrible writing, terrible characters, terrible action scenes, terrible choreography, bland editing, bland camera work. To follow up great source material with something this boring and slow and uninteresting and unbelievable is kind of insulting. Total bummer that this show is artistically so horrific because what the creators are trying to do is honestly very important and noble.
