a review of 伊尼舍林的报丧女妖

this is seemingly not of this world even though it is set in ireland. are there people in real life like the two main characters? my mind tells me no, but my heart tells me yes. this isn't one i'm going to be able to watch often, but wow, total masterpiece. so raw. the acting is impeccable. it's beautifully filmed. weird and surreal, but not just for weird and surreal's sake. a tale of grief and love and friendship and loss and loneliness and how many of these things are actually the same thing?
