Good Grief (2023)

woooooww, the emotional brilliance of this. the characters are so real and flawed, but the writer doesn't need to make them detestable to elicit an emotional response, and drama from their flaws. the number of truly and deeply vulnerable conversations you get to witness during this movie, and the incredible acting performances from the leads make for a really beautiful ride. real people, being in community and deep friendship with one another, inevitably hurting each other, obviously loving one another, making it work. impeccably poignant soundtrack swooshes us through the highs and lows. also i fucking love dan levy.
