a review of 布达佩斯大饭店

really amazing looking sets and color schemes. for real the color is delicious. pretty compelling storytelling. some of the dialogue and scenes are a bit inane (are all his movies this way? rhetorical question.), but at least we are getting whimsical, antifa wes here, which is such a relief. so grateful it wasn't another showing of mansplain-ey, pretentious, bizarre just for the sake of being bizarre, or god forbid zionist wes. swore off this guy's films a while back. i can't remember which one put me over the edge. finally watched this after sooo many friends recommended it. so cool the dude from j. park is in there. oh and the you me and dupree guy (truthfully never seen it, but still).
